When I prayed about what I would share Wednesday night about Lori, the Lord brought this scripture to my mind.
So it came about when Moses held his hand up, that Israel prevailed, and when he let his hands down, Amalek prevailed. But Moses' hands were heavy. Then they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it; and Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side and one on the other. Thus his hands were steady until sun set. Exodus 17: 11-12
This is what Lori has meant to me. She has always been ready to hold my hands up in the battles of my life. Whether it be my children, my marriage, my job, and the everyday frustrations of life. God has blessed me richly with MANY friends that do that for me daily. Lori has been available at a drop of a hat to come to my rescue. She has such a servants heart. Even as she walked into the room the other night for her "CELEBRATION" party she said, "what can I do to help?" That is Lori! Lori does this for all of her friends not just me. As was a testimony on Wednesday night, her availability to bring a casserole to many families in their time of need. Lori has touched many lives at CHBC!
Ladies, I say this to all of us. Let us pray that we can be that kind of friend that they would say, "We held their hands up in our friends battles."
That is what friends are for!
